Harborfest for HeartWorks 2019 will be held September 27 through 29. Touting great food and sensational music, this event is graciously hosted by River Dunes outside of Oriental, North Carolina. This celebration is HeartWorks’ only large fundraiser of the year.
This two-day event benefits over 450 at-risk children each year in Pamlico and surrounding counties. These children and their families are served by HeartWorks‘ counseling, daycare, afterschool and summer programs. The party begins with a casual gathering on Friday, September 27. Starting at 5:30pm. Roland’s Barbecue, music by Saltwater Gold, and a 50/50 raffle are featured. Beer and wine will be available for sale.
On Saturday, September 28, the evening’s festive gala will include an open bar, a delicious buffet catered by The Chelsea of New Bern, live and silent auctions, and, playing beach music, R&B, Top 40, Classic Rock and even a little Country, The Entertainers. Auction items may be viewed here closer to the event.
We will again offer our Boater’s Special to sailors and cruisers who would like to bring their boats to the award-winning 28-acre, 400-slip inland basin River Dunes Marina in Grace Harbor. Take advantage of all marina amenities while docked for up to three nights. Arrangements are managed through Harborfest registration on this website. No need for you to book a slip yourself.
