Harborfest 2017

Harborfest for HeartWorks 2017 will be held September 22 through 24 with great food and good music hosted by River Dunes outside of Oriental, North Carolina.

This two-day event benefits over 400 at-risk children and their families in Pamlico and the surrounding counties that are served annually by HeartWorks‘ counseling, developmental day care, afterschool and summer programs.

End of School Cook Out

The party begins with a casual party on Friday, September 22 starting at 5:30pm featuring Roland’s Barbecue, music by Saltwater Gold, and a 50/50 raffle.  Beer and wine will be available for sale.

On Saturday, September 23, the evening’s festive gala will include an open bar, a delicious buffet catered by The Chelsea of New Bern, both a live and a silent auctions, and, playing beach music, R&B, Top 40, Classic Rock and even a little Country, The Entertainers.  The auction items can be viewed here.

We will again offer our Boater’s Special to sailors and cruisers alike who would like to bring their boats to the award-winning 28-acre, 400-slip inland basin River Dunes Marina and take advantage of all the amenities they have to offer while docked there for up to three nights.  All arrangements are handled through this Harborfest registration. No need for you to book a slip yourself.
